Birds & Wires recorded five songs with Hugh McElroy at Inner Ear and Swim Two Birds in Washington, D.C.. Four of these will be used for an upcoming 12″ EP on Amor y Lucha, the other for something else… we still don’t know what exactly. In the meantime, you can listen to a rough mix of one of said songs here.
If you own/operate a label in Europe, Africa, Asia or South America and think you might like these songs and would like to release something in your neck of the woods, then do get in touch with us. B/W would love to tour these continents, and making their music available in these regions for a reasonable price (without the burden of shipping costs from the U.S.) would be great.
We expect to have the B/W 12″ EP out by Fall 2009… followed by some shows, yeah… shows.
